Edo Anteater Finished

the original doodle of this went in my scraps [link] but there was something about it that demanded further work. so a bit over a week later, this is the result. I'm ridiculously happy with it . mom loves it, and thinks I should write a kids story about it :/ considering that most of the stories I try to write wander off into babbling about zooloical minutae, theories on the nature of the Universe, or stupid puns, i doubt I will .

anyway... Colored pencil (as always) on colored cardstock. the Shoji walls and Tatami mats were fun to do, though they required a lot of reseearch and even more time with a ruler. i was also VERY happy to find a color of cardstock (other than white or almost-white) that works on a lightbox. i should go out and try to find more of this lovely tan today.

this will be available aas a print through DAprints as soon as I figure out how to get the color profile right.
